Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith, Fulham LOC Annual General Meeting

Kensington & Chelsea & Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham LOC AGM TBC

In line with the Constitution, all performers and Contractors who are on the KCWH&F CCG lists should receive voting papers 40 days prior to AGM. These are collated and the final nominations of both members and officers will be placed on the website (http://www.kcwhfloc.com) 15 days before AGM. The Constitution requires 6 members, made up of equal numbers of local Contractors and Performers. Under existing legislation, Dispensing Opticians (Dos) – as contractors – will be legally entitled to be members of LOCs (as will lay contractors); however the guidance recommends that a number of local Dos who are not contractors are also properly included in their membership by means of co-option. Only local Contractors may vote for local Contractors and only local Performers may vote for local Performers. Therefore, each person can only exercise one vote. An optometrist who is both a local Contractor and a Performer must decide which category he/she wishes to belong to. Should more than 12 nominations be received then a further voting process will take place. The voting process allows you to send in a postal vote initially and a proxy vote to be tabled at AGM.

Nominations: If you would like to nominate yourself or a fellow colleague – please complete the nomination form enclosed and email to kcwhfloc@gmail.com by 20th January. Please find the nomination form here:KCWLOC Nomination Form 2021

The best method is submission by email, if any of your staff would like to receive a personal email please advise them to email kcwhfloc@gmail.com. Personal information is held on KCWH&F LOC database and is never given out to third parties. It will also enable the Committee to keep you informed of developments prior to being placed on the website.

Thank you for your co-operation, any queries please do not hesitate to contact LOC kcwhfloc@gmail.com
